Revealing the Divine Secret
So many people are looking for answers to their life challenges these days, sensing that there’s something more to be revealed in response to what is prompting them to change.
The majority of seekers who find me have had a spontaneous awakening, or kundalini activation, and their nervous system is super charged and incoherent, while their life has been turned upside down. Or they’re simply not happy about how their life is expressing, even though they’ve achieved great success. They’re wanting to discover how to integrate the Divine experience into their everyday life — to be the person whose life reflects their awakening.
Many are still suffering from soul fragmentation — trauma that has perpetuated a never-ending cycle of self development, and therapeutic deconstruction that can only benefit them momentarily. Eventually this leads to crashing up against a metaphorical ceiling that doesn’t lead them to their deepest longing.
What they all hold in common is that they haven’t taken the time to turn deeply into their sacred interior to attune to their deepest longing. And what is revealed eventually is that it has always been about love —always the intimacy with pure love — the longing for the Beloved!
Somehow, longing has always come naturally to me. I have yearned for the deeper connections — the intimacy with all life since being a young child, while communing with nature. Because it was and is always an enlivening experience that has the potential to leave me feeling intoxicated by the sweet beauty of the Divine in every moment. It opens the heart at its deepest capacities to the limitless reality.
There was a time in my life, where I had achieved what I thought to be the epitome of success as a woman in the corporate world in the late 1980s. I should have been feeling exhilarated, but even with all I had accomplished outwardly against all odds, I had yet to experience deep fulfillment in my work and therefore, my life.
One day, I was sitting in my meditation room when “it” suddenly awoke. I had been working long days and I had just returned from business travels across the country, and I was feeling exhausted. I was just sitting there enjoying the peacefulness and the perfume of the country air, late at night when everyone was asleep. Then out of nowhere it came. I felt the most intense longing arise within me.
This deep longing was like lightning striking in reverse, rising through me, and rearranging my inner landscape. First my womb, then my heart and eventually my entire body began to burn with intensity. It seemed to force its way into my awareness, crashing through the surface of my comfortable life, leaving me aching with an inconvenient, overwhelming desire for a kind of love I had never considered. I wanted to dissolve and die into something far greater. What I longed for had no face or name, yet it was so vivid and real that my current life seemed to pale in comparison.
Have you ever experienced a longing like that – a restless, mysterious, undeniable sense that something is missing and calling you?
Many people have told me that they’ve had this experience. Even those who lead successful lives surrounded by loved ones can find themselves filled with a yearning for something more. I refer to this as a “divine discontent.”
When longing rises within you and you can’t alleviate its pressure, it is coming from a much deeper place than your desires. Wherever this is coming from, it’s deeper than you or anything you could possibly dream of. It feels like you’re in the midst of something profound and it wants to be met. Something is longing to emerge and something is longing for that. You happen to be in the middle of this something that is about to disrupt your entire life.
The deep longing that I felt arose within and consumed me! Little did I know that this deep longing would initiate my commitment to the Living Truth - to know that my deepest prayer was already given and would change my world forever. Until that moment, I had been living from my Soul (mind, emotions, free will) within the world of time.
And as all this unfolded, I was opened to ecstatic channels of the Divine that would lead me to resign from my corporate career and change my name. I subsequently embarked on a world pilgrimage that blessed me with profound revelations. I was surrendering to the High Spirit within me, to rest in the timelessness of deep intimacy and in constant contact with the Divine.
When you answer the call of this longing within you, you step into the wilderness of unknown territory, because it’s a pathless path.
There is no roadmap. But there is magic there because you simply and profoundly know the next step to take. You engage in the journey of the so-called heretic, the creative renegade, or the everyday mystic who is engaging in the activities of the mainstream world. But now you have a new perspective because you’re taking a powerful stand in fundamental disagreement with the status quo.
You’ve probably figureed out how to make peace with your life as it is. And all of a sudden, this tidal wave comes through you and suddenly, somehow you’re not okay with anythinng in your life. You find yourself in a very different place and everything begins to change.
You’re looking for something deeper than the love of another human being. You want to be taken by something exquisite, and it takes you beyond the ordinary and the comfort of the known.
Allow yourself to engage with the depths of your longing and soon you will be welcoming others to do the same, showing them the way. This longing of love made visible can grow in everyone and begin to create a whole new reality, inspire humanity’s evolution, and actualize a higher order of human relatedness. There’s a whole new dimension of love that will shape our world from the Living Structure of shared unity, deep intimacy, and eternal wisdom, if we will just choose to embrace it.
Your deepest longing is the threshold for entry into the new covenant - to reveal the Divine Secret that lives within you, for your total human embodiment that you’re being called to integrate into your life.
This is a radical call for uncommon courage — to surrender to and resurrect the emerging Living Architecture of the new covenant of Living Life that will support the incoming golden souls of this new era.
