Reclaiming the Feminine Mystery
Our breath is an ever-expanding wave of the vast universal ocean that actually breathes our lives. This is high time (in the cycle of the year and the cycle of humanity) to ride this wave into the simple release of what doesn’t serve us and into the deliciously unknown Grace of these times. There is a field of love that is palpable if you slow down enough to relax into it. There is a sense of sweetness inviting us to surrender to its loving embrace that we can then return as a gift to others. We’ve embarked on an epic journey into a new era – one that is born of love with a whole different feeling of aliveness. What's even more amazing and now more than ever, your soul is calling you to turn up the light to show up in this unique brilliance and give your gifts fully!
In order to achieve this on all levels of existence, the feminine must be revered, as it’s the pulsating web of creation and the womb of life. Every woman knows it in the cells of her body – in her instinctual depths. Out of the substance of our very being, through the womb space, the fountain of life springs forth. Our culture’s focus on a disembodied patriarchal God has left women bereft, denying us the sacredness of this mystery of divine fecundity that can birth a baby, a project or vision, and a luminous legacy. We can participate in the greatest mystery of birthing a soul into planetary embodiment and yet, we have forgotten or have been denied the depths of this mystery of creation, of how the divine light of the soul creates a form in the womb of a woman.
What we do not realize is that this patriarchal denial affects not only every woman, but also humanity and life itself. When we deny the divine feminine, we also deny something fundamental to life. We separate life from its sacred core, from the matrix that nourishes all creation. Because humanity has a central role in the whole of creation, what we deny to ourselves, we deny to all life. In denying the feminine her sacred power, we impoverish life in ways we do not understand.
The days of the priestesses, their temples and ceremonies are behind us, lost to the whispers of time gone by. Because this wisdom was not written down, but transmitted aurally, this sacred knowledge must be remembered from the oracle of our collective womb. As women, once our womb is clear of patriarchal imprinting, we have direct access to the wonders of this gateway and we can truly begin the work of reclaiming the feminine mystery.
