General Policies

Payments:

  • No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please contact me to discuss this option.

  • Payment is due at the time of scheduling the appointment, unless a payment plan has been arranged.

  • Refunds will be issued for cancellation up to 48 hours before the time of the appointment. Please contact me to discuss this option as the online system does not carry out this function. A full refund is applied, minus a $25 administrative fee. Rescheduling is an option and encouraged when needed by accessing the Session Scheduler form provided when you booked your session.

  • Cancellation within 48 hours of the appointment time: no refund, no make-up session, and no client credit will be given.

  • All payments will be received in US funds, except for e-transfers in CA funds.

  • Accepted payment methods are e-transfer and all major credit cards via PayPal or Stripe.

Communication:

  • All communication will be conducted via email or video call.

  • Please be advised that I do not respond to emails over the weekends.

  • Energy work and spiritual counselling are not meant to replace conventional medicine, but rather to complement and enhance it. If symptoms persist, or if you are having an emergency of any kind, whether physical or emotional, please contact a medical professional that can assist you.

Confidentiality:

  • All information received prior, during, and post session will be completely confidential. Files are kept securely in hard copy and online in my client management software.

  • I will not disclose or release any of your information unless I have received explicit written permission to do so from you.

Referrals:

  • In the event that it is best to refer you to another health or wellness professional, I will supply you with their contact information.

  • I will not contact them on your behalf unless specifically requested to do so by you.

Booking A Session:

  • All sessions ( including a series of sessions) are to be booked through Janice Mark’s Session Scheduler software provided to you by personal email, or by accessing the Session Scheduler through a Session Button link or in the footer of the website.

Session Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your scheduled session. Refunds are not available within 48 hours of your scheduled session date - unless you cancel or reschedule 48 hours prior to the scheduled time. However, rescheduling is an option and encouraged when needed by accessing the Session Scheduler form provided when you booked your session.

  • Please contact me 48 hours before the time of the appointment to discuss the option of cancellation as the online system does not carry out this function. A full refund is applied, minus a $25 administrative fee.

  • No-show or late-arrival for any reason forfeits your appointment. No refund, no client credit in full or partial, and no make-up session will be provided.

  • NOTE: It’s understandable that sometimes plans change or something unexpected happens inhibiting you from participating in the session. The availability of individual sessions are limited and therefore, has clients queuing for it. To honour everyone’s time, it is important to open the session back up for someone else if you cannot show up for the scheduled time.

Listening Agreement:

  • Sound Gifts, Meditations and Medicine Melodies are shared in service to the world community. These are intended for your listening pleasure only. They are not to be shared in the public domain. I ask that if anyone, other than yourself, wishes to have a copy of the sound track, please send them to my website directly for their own personal download. All recordings on my website are copyrighted intellectual property. You may not post these audio files on any other site, personal or public, including any form of social media, internet site or media format without my written consent.
